Man Utd go top after beating Liverpool

MANCHESTER, England (AP) Park Ji-sung headed Manchester United back to the Premier League summit by clinching a 2-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday in an ill-tempered clash between the northwest rivals.

While Park's 60th-minute goal restored United's two-point lead over Arsenal, Liverpool remains four points adrift of the final Champions League place.

Fernando Torres headed Liverpool in front after five minutes, but United quickly drew level following a contentiously awarded penalty.
